Abel Lyseng

Abel Lyseng was born on September 11, 1896 in Clinton, Minnesota. He passed away on November 22, 1957.
Cora Rasmussen Lyseng was born on November 10, 1887 in Newman Grove, Nebraska.
She passed away on February 27, 1995 in Camrose.

Abel and Cora Rasmussen were married at the Rasmussen home on November 27, 1919. Abel and Cora
lived on a farm in Dinant for two years. Then they moved to a quarter section of land near Armena.

In 1947, Abel and Cora sold the farm and they moved to Camrose where Abel worked at the Post Office
from 1947 to 1957. By that time, however, Abel was in poor health and died after major surgery in 1957.
Cora coninued to live in Camrose until her death in 1995. Abel and Cora are buried in Scandia Cemetery.
