Clara & Peder Pederson's 50th Wedding Anniversary

Clara was born on April 30, 1887 in Clinton, Minnesota. Clara passed away on February 9th, 1969 at the
age of 81 years. Her husband, Peder was born on November 20, 1890, near Trondheim, Norway.
Peder saw service in WWI on the front lines in France and was severely wounded in 1915.

Peder met Clara while attending a a convention at Scandia Church. They were married in 1917. In 1923,
they decided to try farming and purchasd a quarter section of land. After a few years, they had to give
that up due to health reasons. Peder then sold Rawleigh Products for a few years.

In 1927, they moved to the coast where Peder worked at a variety of jobs. In 1967, they celebrtated their
50th wedding anniversary at the home of Clara's brother, Martin Lyseng. Clara and Peder have one daughter,
Doris. Peder passed away on March 3, 1986. Clara and Peder are buried in Ocean View Cemetery in Burnaby, BC.
