Jorgine was teaching in Farmington School in 1918, when the Spanish Flu broke out.
Schools were closed and teachers helped nurse the sick, where needed. Jorgine was
nursing at the Rev. Heiner home, when she contracted the flu and was taken to the
Camrose Isolation Hospital where she later died on November 24, 1918.
