Oscar Hendrickson was born in 1891, and was the second child of Mathea and Henry Hendrickson.
He was born in Grenville, South Dakota and immigrated with his parents in the spring of 1902.
Oscar attended Thordenskjold School. As a young man he purchased a farm west of the home place
and lived there until his death in 1958.

In 1930, he married Martha Norenburg of Wetaskiwin, who had emigrated from Poland in 1927.
Oscar and Martha were hard-working people and built up thier farmstead, built a beautiful home
and landscaped their lovely yard.

They had three children: Doris, Orris and Carol.
