Thea was born in 1907. Robert was born in 1911. While she was teaching in Hay Lakes, Alberta, for $600.00
per year - she met Robert Young.

They were maried in 1937. In the spring of 1939, they purchased a quarter section in the Ellswick School District.

On July 3, 1941, Marie Elaine was born and on December 20, 1945, Jean Elizabeth was born. Both girls attended
Scandia Church and were confirmed there. Thea taught at Thordenskjold and later at Hay Lakes for twelve years.

In 1966, they sold their farm and moved to Patricia, Alberta where Thea became the principal of the school. She
continued at that position until she retired in 1972. Robert, found a position with the Alberta Government at
Dinosaur Provincial Park, near Patricia, Alberta.

He later became the Chief Warden there and served for six years. Later they retired to Summerland, BC.

After some time, they returned to Camrose in 1986, and from there, Thea moved to Calgary in 1999.
