Edna was the first of Knut and Anne's children to be born in Canada at their home in 1903. She took her

St. Mary's Hospital in Camrose.

She was a member of the first graduating class. She then nursed at Hardiaty Hospital where she met and
married Thomas Thomas - a farmer who was originally from England. They farmed for several years, where
their two children were born, Thomas Robert (Bobby) in 1931, and Joyce in 1934. After several years, they
moved to Calgary as Edna was not well. She spent several years in a Sanitorium and passed away in 1952.
