Esther Chell was born in 1912. She was the daughter of Alfred William Chell 
and Carry (Kari) Chell Lyseng. Esther Chell married Martin Mallery. 
     
Esther and Martin had no children.

The funeral for Martin Thomas Mallery, 80, Summit will be at 2 pm Fiksdal
Funeral Chapel in Webster. The Rev. Bill Tietje of Bristol will officaite.

Burial will be in Ortley Cemetery.

He died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 1989, at Jenkins Methodist Home in Watertown.

Martin Thomas Mallery was born Dec 14, 1908 to Warren and Kittie (Young)
Mallery near Ortley. He attended country school.

He married Esther Chell on Nov 30, 1958 in Waubay. He was a farmer and did
custom farm work. He also did some trucking.

He had been a resident of Jenkins Methodist Home since October 1988.

Survivors include four brothers, Lyle Mallery of Wilmot, Willard Mallery of
Yankton, Robert Mallery of St. Ignatius, Mont., and Sylvester Mallery of Truman,
Minn; and one sister, Mrs. Ernest (Ethel) Chell of Bristol.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife in May 3, 1987, two brothers
and one sister.
