Eddie was born on December 30, 1890. He passed away on March 12, 1964. Hanna was born on
December 25, 1899. She passed away on June 24, 1969.
In 1920, Eddie married Johanna Berg of the Camrose North district.
Eddie farmed for some years
in the Busk district. Hanna taught school during those years. Eddie had the misfortune to lose sight
in one of his eyes. This occurred when a stone flew up while he was on his way to Camrosein his touring
car. He suffered much pain and many years later had an operation to relieve this.
In the late 1920's they gave up farming and moved to Wetaskiwin, where Eddie sold Rawleigh products.
This seemed to fit
well with his personality because he liked to meet people and had a good sense of humour.
Hanna continued to teach school. Eddie and Hanna had four children: Tancred (Ted), Cyril, Enid (who married
Jim Anderson), and Paul. Both Eddie and Hanna are buried in the Wetaskiwin Cemetery.
