Matilda Lyseng

Mathilda (Tillie) was born on March 23, 1885 in Clinton, Minnesota. She was the oldest daughter of Erick
and Berit Lyseng. Tillie never married and after her father Erick died, she moved with her mother Berit
and her sister Nellie, to Camrose, whereupon they later moved to Vancouver.

In Vancouver, Tillie worked as a housekeeper and loved to play the piano. Tillie passed away on July 15th, 1960.
She is buried in Ocean View Cemetery in Burnaby, BC.
