In 1927 Ed married Josephine Knutsvig and together with her daughters Florence and Irene, moved to his farm
in the Camrose North area near Round Hill. Florence went to Lyseng School for the first part of grade one.
Then Ed bought the home place west of Armena. The farm included two quarter sections south of the home place.
Not much of this land was cleared so there was a great deal of tree chopping, stump pulling and root picking to be
done.
Bruce Edward was born on April 14, 1929 - which was also the birthday of his Aunt Mabel. Arthur Earl Hendrick
was born on September 24, 1930.
In 1935, Josephine became very ill, and continued to be in poor health until her passing in August 1943. Florence
married Klemmet Lyseng on June 25, 1940. Irene married James Moore on December 23, 1943. Ed passed away in
October of 1967.
