Melvin Lyseng was born on May 14, 1895 and died on January 12, 1979.
He worked for the Soo Line Railway.
On November 15, 1922, Melvin married Esther Gjengdahl in a double wedding.

Esther was born on September 23, 1885 and passed away on June 28, 1959.

He later married Walborg M. Enroth on June 4, 1960.
Walborg was born on July 14, 1897 and died on February 22, 1976.

Melvin had three children:

Cameron, who was born on May 25, 1923, and died on May 10, 2005.

Marvin, who was born on April 10, 1925 and died on April 11, 1925.

Marilyn who was born on April 22, 1933 and died on April 24, 2010.
