Merlin Solheim

Merlin was a pilot in World War II, who flew bomber missions into Germany.
On his last mission he was flying his bomber to Berlin, Germany - but was shot
down before he could complete his mission. There were no survivors. Merlin is
buried at the Becklingen War Cemetery in Niedersashen, Germany.

He flew a Wellington Mark II W5553 bomber.

Before his transfer to the United Kingdon, Merlin married Helen Christina Vaughan-Smith.
After Merlin's death, she later married Squadron Leader Harold Stanley Lisson.
